Conviction is a browser extension that adds token scores to fomo.family. It is built so that your data stays in your browser.

What the extension reads

On pages under https://fomo.family only, Conviction reads the token market data that the fomo.family web app downloads for its own lists and charts (for example price, market cap, liquidity, holder statistics and contract security checks). It does not read your messages, your wallet, your balances, or any page on any other site.

What it stores

• Your settings (profile, thresholds, toggles), saved with Chrome's storage so they follow your browser profile.
• Your watchlist and a short list of recent top scores, saved locally on your device.

What it sends

The main score is calculated on your device and needs no network at all.

If Conviction Cloud is switched on (it is by default, and you can turn it off in the popup), the extension asks its own server, fomoconviction.fun, for extra insights. Those requests contain only:

• the contract addresses of the tokens shown on the page you're viewing, and
• a trader's wallet address, if you open that trader.

They carry no cookies, no account, and nothing about you, your wallet or your fomo account. Like any web server, fomoconviction.fun briefly records the IP address of each request in its access logs, and it's served through Cloudflare. The extension includes no analytics or tracking.

Conviction Cloud currently runs a preview engine: its numbers are placeholder data while the real engine is built, and the extension labels them "preview".

Permissions

• Access to fomo.family — to read token data and display scores on that site.
• storage — to remember your settings and watchlist.
• notifications — to show score alerts you have turned on.
• Access to fomoconviction.fun — for Conviction Cloud requests (see above).

Removing your data

Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored.
